Our kennels set on a 25 x 50ft. concrete pad, with 4 - 10x10 kennels and 3 - 10x20ft. kennels, with fans, covered with tarps. The gates are usually left open, so the dogs can come and go into their fenced in yard as they please. If dogs are kept up in a kennel, it is because of a female being in season or has puppies. Then of course, they have to be kept up.
